Our Curriculum

MIT School designed its curriculum in such a way to ensure the academic, religious and moral development of our students. It is a combination of some national curriculum and British curriculum. The comprehensive curriculum designed for our elementary, secondary and high school level ultimately prepare our students for the IGCSE (O’Level) GCSE (A’Level) Examination under the University of London. These examinations are conducted under the supervision of The British Council Dhaka.

 

 

In Elementary Level:

We focus and work on the development of social skill and motor skill of our students by engaging them different indoor and outdoor activities. We also design our curriculum to develop their vocabulary skill and numeracy skill by using multimedia and other modern teaching aid.

In Middle Level:

We teach the following subjects:

·         English Language

·         English Literature

·         Mathematics

·         Science

·         Religious Studies

·         বাংলা সাহিত্য

·         বাংলা ব্যকরণ

·         Bangladesh Studies (History & Geography)

·         ICT

·         Arabic

·         Art and Craft

 

In Middle Section the curriculum is designed to develop student’s numeracy & literacy skill and understanding level of their social and religious knowledge.

In High School level:

We offer the following subjects for our students:

  • English Language, English Literature
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematic, Pure Mathematic
  • Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Business Studies
  • Bangladesh studies
  • ICT

IGCSE subject selection is done from level VIII
